Pet Vac Animal Hospital has the capability to perform various blood tests, pre-anesthetic bloodwork, and other types of testing on-site instead of sending samples to an outside lab. This saves time, money, and most importantly, you don’t have to wait overnight for results—meaning your pet gets a diagnosis and needed treatment sooner.
Testing provided in-hospital includes:
- Comprehensive and mini chemistry panels
- CBCs (complete blood counts)
- Pancreatic and liver screenings
- Renal profiles
- Thyroid (T4) and cholesterol screenings
- Pt/Ptt testing (clotting factors)
- Urinalysis
- Fecal screenings for parasites
- Blood pressure
- Viral testing for felines (FeLV, FIV)
While we do offer an extensive range of on-site testing, it is possible that your pet may need laboratory work beyond our scope. Please note that we do not currently offer parvo testing or blood gas analysis. If these or any other specialized tests are needed, we partner with a high-quality outside lab that quickly returns results to us.
